University of Diponegoro’s Master of Law Program Holds a Public Lecture on Combating Narcotics in Indonesia
Diponegoro, March 19, 2024 – The Master of Law Program at the University of Diponegoro (Undip) once again held a Public Lecture on March 19, 2024, with the theme “The Role of BNN in Combating Narcotics Crimes in Indonesia”. The event featured Brigjen Pol. Dr. Joko Setiono, S.H., S.I.K., M.Hum., the Head of BNN RI (National Narcotics Agency of Indonesia), as the speaker.
The online lecture was attended by all students of the Master of Law Program at Undip and was opened by the Head of the Master of Law Program, Dr. Joko Setiyono, S.H., M.Hum., with Mutia Iftiyani Rohrohmana, S.H. as the moderator.
On this occasion, Brigjen. Pol. Dr. Joko Setiono, S.H., S.I.K., M.Hum. delivered a presentation on the following topics:
- The Narcotics Threat in Indonesia
- The International Narcotics Network Map
- Patterns of Narcotics Abuse
- BNN RI’s Strategies
It is hoped that through this event, students can become ambassadors who actively participate in P4GN (Prevention and Eradication of Narcotics Abuse and Illicit Traffic and Precursors) activities. This is so that we can achieve a demographic bonus in terms of both quality and quantity, making Indonesia a respected country internationally with a high-quality society that is free from narcotics.
