The Law Masters Program at the Faculty of Law, Diponegoro University will again hold Studium Generale on September 19 2024 in room P.112 of the Undip Pleburan Law Masters Program with the theme “Past, Present & Future of AI and the Legal Realm”. This event was opened by the Secretary of the Master of Law Program, Dr. Adya Paramita Prabandari, S.H., M.L.I., M.H., and presenting speaker Dr. Sian Chin Chin. He is a Senior Lecturer in Law at Taylor’s University Subang Jaya, Selangor, Malaysia. The person acting as moderator is Mrs. Anggita Doramia Lumbanraja, S.H., M.H. (Undip Law Faculty lecturer) and MC Fazlar Rusyda Kamila (Law Masters Program student).
This event was attended by all students of class 1 class 2024 from the concentration class Criminal Law Reform, State Law, Economic and Business Law and International Law 2024 and class 3 who live in Semarang.
The aim of the activity is for students to better understand the history and development of AI (Artificial Intelligence) which will be very useful in the future in the scope of legal practice which really helps ease the work related to resolving cases thereby saving time and costs as well as efficiency and quality of service for law enforcers. can also increase. Apart from that, he also conveyed the implications of AI in academic learning in today’s increasingly competitive era. With AI, it is hoped that learning activities will be more efficient and effective, and the curriculum used will be in line with student needs.
