The Master of Laws Program, Faculty of Law, Diponegoro University, held an offline New Student Matriculation Ceremony for the Even Semester By-Research Class for the 2025/2026 Academic Year at the Grand Candi Hotel in Semarang. The event was attended by 19 By-Research class students. The event was opened by the Dean of the Faculty of Law, Prof. Dr. Retno Saraswati, S.H., M.Hum.
Dr. Muh. Afif Mahfud, S.H., M.H., was present as a resource person who provided material on “Research Methodology” as a provision for students to conduct research and write a thesis. The Head of the Master of Laws Program, Dr. Ratna Herawati, S.H., M.H. delivered material on “Program Profile and Postgraduate Silver”, followed by the Secretary of the Master of Laws Program, Dr. Adya Paramita Prabandari, S.H., M.L.I., M.H. delivered material on “2024 Curriculum and Exam Stages” that students will go through, and Mr. Suwadi delivered material on “Academics and SIAP”.
The purpose of this matriculation activity is to introduce the Study Program more deeply, strengthen relationships so that they get to know each other better and understand each other’s character, so that students can have the same knowledge about how to think, understand the academic process, use appropriate research methods in conducting research and compiling theses so as to produce good scientific work, thus providing the knowledge needed by new students so that they can graduate on time with maximum grades.
