History

The Master of Law Program at Universitas Diponegoro, Semarang is a Master Program that has been held since 1982 in the form of the UI-UNDIP Credit Collection Activity (KPK). Based on the Decree of the Director General of Higher Education, Depdikbud No.155 / DIKTI / KEP / 1993 concerning the Establishment of a Master of Law Study Program at Universitas Diponegoro Semarang, the Master of Law Study Program has been held independently since 1993 for the Regular class. Then in 2004, the Master of Law Program opened the Regular class II. The Master of Law Program also made cooperation with the Ministry of Justice (now Ministry of Law and Human Rights), the Attorney General’s Office, the Ministry of Home Affairs, the Regional Police (POLDA), UMM, and the Ministry of Education and Culture. In 2006, MLP launched the Superior Scholarship Program (HET-HKI) with funding from the Ministry of Education and Culture, where MLP students had the opportunity to study with a Double Degree and/or Sit-In system at several Overseas Partner Universities such as the University of Wisconsin – Law School, USA; National University of Malaysia; Eramus University Rotterdam, the Netherlands; Radboud University Nijmegen, the Netherlands; National University of Singapore; Flinders University, Adelaide, Australia; Leiden University, the Netherlands; Chulalongkorn University, Thailand; and San Carlos University, Cebu, Philippines.
