On January 9, 2023, the Faculty of Law hosted a significant event at the Prof. Purwahid Patrik .S.H., M.H building as part of the series of activities for the 66th Dies Natalis celebration. The highlight of the celebration was the Academic Oration with the theme “Strengthening Quality Human Resources towards an Advanced Indonesia.”
The event commenced with a welcome address from the Dean of the Faculty of Law, Prof. Dr. Retno Saraswati, S.H., M.Hum. Following the opening, the first guest speaker, Dr. Darminto Hartono, S.H., LL.M., an expert in international economic law, delivered a presentation on “INTERNATIONAL TRADE IN BANKRUPTCY AS A MODEL FOR ASEAN.”
The second speaker, Dr. Aminah, S.H., M.Si., an environmental law expert, presented on “INTEGRATING CONCEPTS OF SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT IN ENVIRONMENTAL LAW REFORM.”
Concluding the oration, the third speaker, Dr. Joko Setiyono, S.H., M.Hum., an expert in international humanitarian law, shared insights on “INTEGRATED POLICIES IN COUNTERING TERRORISM IN INDONESIA AS A CRIME.”
The oration served as an intellectual feast, providing attendees with valuable perspectives on crucial topics. It not only contributed to the academic discourse within the Faculty of Law but also reinforced the commitment to producing high-quality human resources for Indonesia’s advancement.
